‘Live’ Space and Anywhere City are the latest installments of Blank Forms’ ongoing investigation into the practice of pioneering sound artist Maryanne Amacher. This iteration takes the form of a two-day program consisting of a daylong symposium hosted by Nokia Bell Labs and a two-hour listening session with screenings the following day hosted by Artists Space. Both feature a group of guest panelists specifically invited for their collaboration with Amacher at MIT’s legendary Center for Advanced Visual Studies (CAVS), including Lowry Burgess (via remote link), Ernst Caramelle, Scott Fisher, and Keiko Prince, plus resident interlocutors Bill Dietz and Amy Cimini.
