Every month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded presenters and artists offer ten concerts of adventurous music in an informal yet respectful all-ages setting: contemporary classical, free improvisation, the outer limits of jazz, electronic music, microtonal/new instruments, sound art, and other extraordinary sonic experiences.

Lori Goldston & Friends
Thu. Feb. 23, 8 PM; $5 – $15 at the door

Cellist and composer Lori Goldston performs new work, including the debut of solo cello songs commissioned by Entre Rios Books, in response to a forthcoming collection of poems by Melissa Mueller, Mary’s Dust and a duo with guitarist Mark Hilliard Wilson, and other guests.

Noel Kennon + Austin Larkin
Fri. Feb. 24, 8 PM; $5 – $15 at the door

Composer Noel Kennon presents a new work for a sextet of alto sax, tenor sax, clarinet, vibraphone, piano, and double bass. Austn Larkin presnets new works for his new ensemble You Are Fire Dressed in Black You Are Fire Dressed in Black You Are Fire Dressed in Black.

SAT. 3/4 – Sound Ensemble, music inspired by literature by Anthony Plog, Tom Baker, Kevin Clark, Christopher Gainey
