Avant Music News is very happy to announce that the In Darkness is Light (IDIL) Music Award 2024 album has been released. The stylistic focus is experimental ambient and acousmatic music.
There were a total of 26 submissions, all appearing on the album. The winners were:
First Place – Richard Bégin
Second Place – Ignoto Militi
Third Place – The Black Monolith
Avant Music News provided a portion of a modest stipend to the winning efforts. Having said that, all submissions were quite good, many truly excellent.
