Local percussionist and composer Aaron Michael Butler premieres two new works for solo percussion by composers Matt Sargent and Anthony Donofrio. Sargent will also perform his Fifth Illumination for solo electric guitar and electronics. Audience is encouraged to bring yoga mats, blankets, etc.

Young Scientist + Marc Barreca + Monster Planet

Seattle electronic music veteran Marc Barreca performs compositions with modular synth and audio processing. He’s joined by long-time collaborator James Husted for their duo Young Scientist. Monster Planet brings surreal audio/visual performances that blend cutting-edge ambient, experimental electronica, obscure cinema, DIY visuals, and general WTFness.
