Last month we had a blast with a lovely series of concerts, ranging from the minimalism of TONUS (check out the nice bundle offer) to the full-on free jazz of MARTINA VERHOEVEN QUINTET. And yes there’s bandcamp Friday again highlighted by a couple of new releases : one in pre-order on A NEW WAVE OF JAZZ : KODIAN PLUS – DISENGAGE, a very limited live cd of DIRK SERRIES’ ambient music at Hundred Years Gallery, OUT OF NOWHERE by JOHN EDWARDS, COLIN WEBSTER, DIRK SERRIES and ANDREW LISLE on Raw Tonk Records, and finally the long-awaited next release of SCATTERWOUND on Midira Records.
Last but not least eyes and ears are on KODIAN TRIO’s UK tour in March and the return of another full-on quartet of MARTINA VERHOEVEN, PATRICK DE GROOTE, DIRK SERRIES and ONNO GOVAERT at PlusEtage on March 24th !
