Sept 22: Victoria Keddie + Rose Kallal—For their third performance together, the multidisciplinary artists will each premiere solo works with improvisations for analog modular synthesizer, video, and live camera, as well as present a collaboration of sound and video synthesis.
Sept 27: Zoh Amba: Bhakti Record Release—The saxophonist, flutist, and composer will perform from her new album, which includes hymns that push and tear into the deepest places of avant-garde improvisation.
Sept 29: Interpretations: Petr Kotik 80th Birthday Celebration—Peter Kotík’s monumental, six-hour piece Many Many Women (1975–78) performed by members of S.E.M. Ensemble.
Sept 30: Ex Machina—The Orchestre National de Jazz and IRCAM explore the possibilities of interaction between a large jazz orchestra and computers; program created in February 2022 at the Festival Présences de Radio France in Paris will have its US Premiere.
