Blaser Lossing Duo
New York jazz pianist, composer and recording artist Russ Lossing and Bern, Switzerland based trombonist Samuel Blaser, master jazz musicians and improvisers, will perform in a rare duo setting.
Diane Roblin (piano & keyboards) and Kayla Milmine (soprano saxophone) aka “Ladyfinger” are two distinguished players within Toronto’s creative music scene. Their performance will explore their own original compositions through whimsical dialogues and progressive improvisation.

March 27 @ The Casbah
Michael Formanek Drome Trio (NY)
Consisting of Michael Formanek (double bass), Chet Doxas (tenor, soprano saxophone, and clarinet), and Vinnie Sperrazza (drums). Their performance will focus mainly on compositions by Fromanek which are based on a set of musical palindromes that started out as graphic scores and were then reinterpreted into conventional music notation.
