An evening with Bjll Dingalls and Heule/Nishi-Smith/Rivero. Swinging serious sonic sledgehammers for a threefold lifetime now, Bjll Dingalls (Tom Djll, Bill Hsu, and Matt Ingalls) lay the railroad into terra incognita. Jacob Felix Heule is an improvising percussionist with a special interest in friction techniques. Kanoko Nishi-Smith performs contemporary compositions and improvises on piano and koto. Danishta Rivero is a vocalist who performs on electronics and the Hydrophonium, a water-based electro-acoustic percussion instrument she created.

Pianist Ting Luo gives the World Premieres of a series of new works for solo piano and immersive visuals by living composers in Bay Area and beyond, including Danny Clay, Chatori Shimizu, and Jean Ahn, in collaboration with visual artists including Charles Woodman and Jo Ho. This event is curated and presented by New Arts Collaboration.

Full Circle is a free improvisation project between Anita Chandavarkar on bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) and Gabby Wen on guqin (Chinese seven-string zither). With a common interest in cross-cultural musical conversations, and a passion for ancient wisdom, the duo explores the unique synergy of this specific instrumental combination, beyond the expectations of its inherent sonic qualities, in both traditional and contemporary contexts.
