Young Scientist + Marc Barreca

Young Scientist (James Husted, Marc Barreca), Seattle’s pioneer electronic music group, formed in the 1970’s, emerges from the laboratory for an evening of immersive modular electronic music. Marc Barreca also plays a solo set, celebrating the release of his latest CD, The Empty Bridge.

Neil Welch

Saxophonist/composer Neil Welch celebrates the release of his new album the ink around it, with 3 unique performers: Nat Evans (gongs/stringed instruments for improviser), Neil Welch (solo sax), and the composition Concepción Picciotto (for 11 member ensemble).

Garrett Fisher & GraceANN Cummings

Pianist GraceANN Cummings premieres Garrett Fisher’s Blueprints for Solo Piano. These are Fisher’s first pieces for a solo instrument, a demanding set of works based on improvisatory frameworks guiding the pianist to discover their own interpretation. Presented by Nonsequitur.
