From The Bridge:
In a world of adventures and misadventures, The Bridge’s October tour in France is happening, starting tomorrow. Happening, as in : ensuring, with our partners, that venues can still exist, that they be inhabited, haunted, and visited. In the most careful and reasonable conditions that the situation dictates.
However, only the French musicians (Pierre-Antoine Badaroux & Jean-Luc Guionnet) will step on stage. Their American friends (Jim Baker & Jason Roebke) will not be physically present, but will be heard through recordings they made in Chicago for this, not unlike a radiophonic piece, with which the French saxophone players will interact on stage.
The Forget to Find album, recorded during the quartet’s first tour in Chicago, in May 2017, is now available on the label’s Bandcamp page.
