Pleasure of the Text Records is proud to announce the launch of its new digital and print imprint, Tisser Tissu Editions. These releases mark a chance to present work that, due to its duration, presentation, or place in the history of the artist who made it, is better received by its public as a low to middle cost download with a large amount of textual and visual context.

Our first release: TTE001 is the first all electronic solo release from trumpeter, composer, improvisor Nate Wooley. Three Studies for Future Uncertainties will be released digitally on May 1, 2020. A very limited special edition chapbook will be open for preorder at that time, as well, featuring Wooley’s writings about the music, a very special short story (the third study and the first fiction piece by Wooley) and reproductions of the phenomenal embroidered scores of Jen Mesch and the performance created snare drum drawings of Ryan Sawyer. The download version will be available immediately on May 1 through Bandcamp. At that time we will also take preorders for the chapbook.

Each chapbook is saddle stitched using 130 gram paper and printed at Die Keure in Belgium. It has been designed by Lasse Marhaug in close collaboration with PotTR and the artist and will be made available for as close to cost as possible, in order for the audience to discover a new side of Wooley’s music and writing as well as to help support this new production method from PotTR!
