Joey Guidry – solo bassoon
Joey Guidry III is an American bassoonist, and activist currently studying at the Mannes School of Music under Rebekah Heller. As an avid performer and supporter of new music, Clifton has spent the last two years commissioning and premiering a number of new works for bassoon and electronics. He has collaborated with composers George Lewis, Felipe Lara, Edgar Guzman, Bekkah Simms, Christine Liu, and Chew Jun An. Mr. Guidry has participated in the Eastern Music Festival and the Puerto Rico Summer Music festival, and Ensemble Evolution at the Banff Centre. This summer he will be performing in the Spoleto Music Festival, and returning to the Banff Centre for ensemble evolution. Joey Guidry completed his undergraduate studies at the Peabody conservatory under Phillip Kolker

Carl Stone – computers
Carl Stone is one of the pioneers of live computer music, and has been hailed by the Village Voice as “the king of sampling,” and “one of the best composers living in (the USA) today.” He has used computers in live performance since 1986. Stone was born in Los Angeles and now divides his time between Los Angeles and Japan. He studied composition at the California Institute of the Arts with Morton Subotnick and James Tenney and has composed electro-acoustic music almost exclusively since 1972. His works have been performed in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and the Near East. In addition to his schedule of performance, composition and touring, he is on the faculty of the Department of Media Engineering at Chukyo University in Japan. Stone served as president of the American Music Center from 1992–95. He was the Director of Meet the Composer/California from 1981–1997, and Music Director of KPFK-FM in Los Angeles from 1978–1981. He often hosts a weekly program on KPFA in the Bay Area. Other activities have included serving as a regular columnist for Sound & Recording Magazine in Japan; editor for Other Minds, a website devoted to New Music; and editor for the official website of the John Cage Trust.

Thomas Lehn, Analogue synthesizer
Tiziana Bertoncini (violin)
The duo of Tiziana Bertoncini and Thomas Lehn has been working since 2002. Their real time created music is deeply rooted in their long years practice of both, improvisation and interpretation. They are founding members of the interpreter-improviser ensemble]h[iatus (www.ensemble-hiatus.eu] formed in 2006. Their highly acclaimed CD “Horsky Park” was released in 2011 on British Label Another Timbre. Both live in Vienna/Austria.
The concert tour in April 2020 is their first duo appearance in the USA.
