Bang on a Can and the Jewish Museum’s 2018-2019 concert season, pairing music with the Museum’s exhibitions and showcasing leading female performers and composers, continues with a performance by pianist Jenny Lin. Set alongside the exhibition Chagall, Lissitzky, Malevich: The Russian Avant Garde in Vitebsk, 1918-1922, this performance features the New York premiere of Philip Glass’s Passacaglia in a collision with recently re-discovered music from early 20th century Russia.
