Robert Rich | New York | Autumn Equinox
September 22nd, 2018

Across four decades and over 40 albums, Robert Rich has helped define several genres of ambient music, yet his music remains hard to categorize. Part of his unique sound comes from using home-made acoustic and electronic instruments, microtonal harmonies, computer-based signal processing, chaotic systems and feedback networks. Rich began building his own analog synthesizers in 1976, when he was 13 years old, and later studied for a year at Stanford’s Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA).

Suzanne Ciani | Los Angeles August 3rd, 2018
August 3rd, 2018

Suzanne Ciani is a five-time Grammy award nominated composer, electronic music pioneer, and neo-classical recording artist whose work has been featured in countless commercials, video games, and feature films. Over the course of her 30+ year career, she’s released 15 solo albums, including Seven Waves, The Velocity of Love, and most recently, the live electronic album retrospective, Buchla Concerts 1975 via Finders Keepers. She’s been recognized as Keyboard Magazine’s “New Age Keyboardist of the Year,” provided the voice and sounds for Bally’s groundbreaking “Xenon” pinball machine, received the 2017 Moog Innovation Award, played concerts all over the globe, and carved out a niche as one of the most creatively successful female composers in the world. Suzanne will be performing on this occasion on the Buchla 200e in quadraphic (spatial) sound.
