A native of Switzerland who now regularly commutes between New York and Berlin, Samuel Blaser is a musician who has internalized all that jazz history has produced and commands a powerful musicality. Blaser is noted for his pristine classical intonation and free approach to improvisation.

Sunday, June 24: Matinee performance of Terry Riley’s In C by Ben Miller Orchestra
Ben Miller’s Detroit Orchestra of varying instruments will celebrate the birthday of said Grandfather of Minimalism; Terry Riley. Anyone can join the group. The only prerequisite is to have performed this 45-60′ composition at least once before. It is relaxing, mesmerizing and hypnotic. Please join us for a fun Sunday matinee show.
