A slew of DIY builds in the past few years has resulted in an increasing number of musicians finding a way to incorporate modulars into their work—for many, it’s the foundation of their entire practice. Upcoming Dirk Serries Release and Performances

NEW RELEASE:

COLIN WEBSTER & DIRK SERRIES – GARGOYLES (CD, Raw Tonk Records 2018)
Brandnew on RAW TONK RECORDS is the duality between sax player Colin Webster and electric guitarist Dirk Serries. Gargoyles is the duo that pushes the envelope even further in their ongoing collaborations (KODIAN TRIO, TONUS, etc.). Abstract, microscopic and utterly dynamic and in your face. This is improvisation on the edge of everything.

UPCOMING CONCERTS:

BENEDICT TAYLOR & DIRK SERRIES will record a duo album together at the Sunny Side Inc. studio in Anderlecht (Belgium), the recording site that built A New Wave Of Jazz and plays two concerts:
June 2nd 2018 – Paviljoen Ongehoorde Muziek (Eindhoven, NL)
June 3rd 2018 – Citadelic Festival (Gent, B)

YODOK III + Flønes/Sanders/Strugstad
July 19th 2018 – Molde Jazz Festival, Molde (Norway)
