James Moore, guitar and Andie Springer, violin

Described as “model new-music citizens” by the NY Times, James Moore and Andie Springer enjoy active careers as performers in New York’s thriving creative music scene. James and Andie started their duo while on tour with the production of playwright Richard Maxwell’s Neutral Hero. They have since built a unique repertoire of contemporary music for violin and steel-string resonator guitar and collaborated with a diverse community of composers, writers, actors and visual artists. Their critically acclaimed debut album Gertrudes was released on New World Records in 2015

Adam Tendler, piano

Internationally recognized for his authoritative, electrifying performances and diverse programming, pianist Adam Tendler presents with a powerful program of new and modern works by American composers. A recognized interpreter of modern American music, Tendler has performed the work of John Cage internationally, often from memory, working closely with the John Cage Trust. Tendler has recorded and spoken about Cage’s music for the immersive music app, Tido, produced by Cage’s publisher, Edition Peters, making him the first performer to record Cage’s music exclusively for a digital music platform.

Gyan Riley guitarist and composer

Gyan Riley won his first guitar in a raffle when he was 12 years old. Shortly after learning all of the songs in his cassette collection by ear, he became the first full-scholarship graduate guitar student at the San Francisco Conservatory. Gyan’s diverse work now focuses on his own compositions, improvisation, and contemporary classical repertoire.
