Every month, Nonsequitur and a community of like-minded presenters and artists offer ten concerts of adventurous music in an informal yet respectful all-ages setting: contemporary classical, free improvisation, the outer limits of jazz, electronic music, microtonal/new instruments, sound art, and other extraordinary sonic experiences.

Alumni Alchemy: UW Composers I
Thu. May 25, 8 PM; $5 – $15 at the door

The first of two consecutive evenings of electro-acoustic music, video and performance by UW Alumni composers and friends. The program changes each night, with works tonight by Tom Baker, Sarah Bassingthwaighte, Donald Craig & Douglas Niemela, , and Ewa Trębacz with Josiah Boothby.

Alumni Alchemy: UW Composers II
Thu./Fri. May 25/26, 8 PM; $5 – $15 at the door

The second of two consecutive evenings of electroacoustic music, video and performance by UW Alumni composers and friends. The program changes each night, with works tonight by Linda Antas and her colleague from Montana State University Jason Bolte, Ryan M. Hare, Ben McAllister, and Joshua Parmenter.

SAT. 5/27 – MOVED! Zero-G Concerts presents Swiss trio Elgar + Greg Campbell/Bill Horist/Dennis Rea + Greg Kelley Due to a scheduling error, this show will now be at Teatro de la Psychomachia

TUE. 5/30 – Drummer Remy Morritt presents original music and improvisations in the first performance of a collection entitled The Ant with Alex Oliverio (guitar), Daniel Salka (keyboards), Mark Hunter (bass)

FRI. 6/2 – Kaley Lane Eaton presents Lily, an electroacoustic multimedia “opera” with an original libretto by Felicia Klingenberg

SAT. 6/3 – Seattle Modern Orchestra collaborates with Paris-based clarinetist Carole Robinson on a program centered around Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi
