APR 6: Amsterdam
World Minimal Music Festival with Ensemble Klang
I’m reuniting with friends Ensemble Klang to narrate two very different pieces: Frederic Rzewski’s Coming Together & Tom Johnson’s Narayana’s Cows. Coming Together is a setting of a letter fragment written by US political prisoner Sam Melville some months before he was murdered by New York State Police during the Attica Prison Uprising in 1971. Narayana’s Cows is a piece about a math problem.
