Wed. Nov. 23: !, 2. Go…to Standing Rock
We’re bring back our festival of solo and duo performers, 1,2, Go, as a benefit for the guardians of Standing Rock Sioux Reservation’s water supply from the Dakota Access Pipeline. Organized in conjunction with Water is Life and musician/pizza-maker Matt Zolkowski. several local businesses, including Trinosophes, El Club, UFO Factory, Avalon International Breads and others, will be holding fundraising events and sending supplies to Standing Rock over the next several weeks. Our festival will run all day, from 9 am to 8 pm. Any size donation is accepted for the performances and Trinosophes is contributing 20% of sales as well.Set times TBA, but here’s a sample of who you’ll be able to hear through out the day:

9 pm doors; $8.Wed. Nov. 30: Makoto Kawabata (of Acid Mother’s Temple) and Tatsuya Nakatani Duo, Chatoyant What!?! This combination of the super-psychedelic guitar of Acid Mother’s Temple founder, Makoto Kawabata, and super-human, improvising percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani is sure to be a real mind-bender and one of the great pairings of the year. The charming improvisations of kindred spirits Chatoyant gets the night going. Doors at 8 pm; $10.
