On October 2nd, two of jazz’s most dynamic pianists, Kris Davis and Craig Taborn, unite for an evening of original compositions and improvisations, followed by the Vinny Golia Quartet on October 4th.

The following week will feature the first of three Curated by Meredith Monk shows this season. The series features performers selected by Monk who are following his or her own path, asking questions, finding places that fall between the cracks of genres or categories. October 13 will see the premiere of David Behrman‘s Reinventions, featuring John King on guitar and Cleek Schrey on hardanger d’amore.

Finally, saxophonist Oliver Lake curates two night of the Passin’ Thru Music Festival, featuring performances from Josh Evans Quintet, Oliver Lake Big Band, 10^32K, and Trio 3.
