The Sarah Bernstein Quartet performs works from their new album “Still/Free” on Leo Records. The pieces showcase Bernstein’s distinctive post-tonal and polyrhythmic jazz compositions, deconstructed by open improvisation and sonic exploration. The music flows organically from minimalist melody to breathtaking be-bop to free jazz. This concert will feature the acclaimed violinist with master musicians Ron Stabinsky on piano, Stuart Popejoy on electric bass and Tomas Fujiwara on drums.
