Witcyst / Marhaug
Sludd/Slaps/Substantiv / Hess (Vits-444)
Limited Edition 7″ lathe cut by Peter King

Norwegian noise legend, Lasse Marhaug, joins Whangarei recluse, Witcyst for a hunk of very noisy plastic. Where Marhaug travels the world collaborating, making music and interviewing (see his excellent Personal Best zines), Witcyst never gigs and never leaves the sub-tropical climes of New Zealand’s winterless north. What they have in common are restlessly inventive approaches to making tonnes of noise and a huge excitement to be sharing a split!

Noel Meek / Wolf Eyes
Mole Rat / Dual Alice
Limited Edition 7″ lathe cut by Peter King

As I write this, I still can’t quite believe my eyes. Can I really be sharing a split 7″ with Wolf Eyes? By all the gods of sound-making, yes! As far as we know, in all of Wolf Eyes’ massive back catalogue, this is their first release on a New Zealand label and their first Peter King lathe cut. John Olson, Nate Young and Crazy Jim Baljo will be swinging around their inimitable trip-metal on one side and I, your humble label head honcho, will flash something bright and colourful on the other (with some amazement).
