Composer/vocalist Lisa Bielawa performs at Bargemusic in a program called “Cri selon cri” (Cry by Cry) with the Rouen-based group Ensemble Variances, which explores the cry as a universal expression of emotions common to all humanity. The concert features the New York premiere of Bielawa’s new piece Incessabili Voce, commissioned by Radio France for Ensemble Variances, with Lisa as the soprano soloist.
