The Robert D. Bielecki Foundation has awarded the following grants: $10,000 Grant for Harlem Stage Benefit with Cecil Taylor, in appreciation of Harlem Stage and its critical, internationally influential role promoting artists of color, $2,500 Grant for Seed Artists / Richard Davis Concert, in honor of Richard Davis’ enduring achievements as a bassist par excellence, and $3,300 Grant for Steve Swell 60th Birthday Celebration, for his extraordinary talent as a composer and improviser expanding the trombone’s lexicon in new and unusual ways.

Portland’s Creative Music Guild is accepting donations to support their series of shows.
