  1. As things turned out, word about the Magic Science Quartet spread so quickly that as we toured, we were able to add more concerts, including two late sets at the Vortex to benefit the club, the first following the great Paul Dunmall’s set on Sept. 28th, and the second with Black Top, the wonderful duo of Orphie Robinson and Pat Thomas on Sept. 29th; and a day of workshops with the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra at Henry Wood Hall (Scottish National Orchestra Centre) in Glasgow on Oct. 4th (this one not open to the public). And we came home with happy hearts and with offers for next year! Thanks to all the wonderfully appreciative fans and wonderfully helpful venue people who made this tour a dream come true!
