A Birthday Bash for Terry Riley at the Ecstatic Music Festival

From NYTimes.com:

An 80th birthday concert for Terry Riley, a program of new works performed by the Bang on a Can All Stars and a concert of John Zorn’s music are among the highlights of the fifth Ecstatic Music Festival, which will run from Jan. 15 to April 16.

The festival, a collaboration between the Kaufman Music Center and New Amsterdam Presents, the new-music organization, specializes in indie classical programs and presents concerts that typically include two or more ensembles, which are encouraged to collaborate on stage.
