Sonic Circuits Fundraising Compilation Released

Sonic Circuits DC announces the release of District of Noise Volume 7, a fundraising compilation of twenty-three tracks of experimental music from Washington DC area artists. The release is available as a download. Proceeds from sales will go toward defraying costs of the 2014 Sonic Circuits Festival.

Tracks on the compilation document the range of experimental music in the DC area—sound collage, electronic composition, acoustic experimentation, free improvisation, and sounds that defy genre.

Sonic Circuits is a Washington DC area promoter for experimental music that seeks to expose audiences to cutting edge contemporary music that defies genres, and offer artists new platforms to present their music and opportunities to network and collaborate with artists from around the world.
