Gerry Hemingway has released on his Auricle Records imprint a CD + DVD of Solo Works 1995-2012, 15 individual pieces for drum set, percussion, voice and/or live electronics as well as “kernelings” (2013) a sound and image film created by Gerry Hemingway (50 minutes) and “Waterways” (1984) A multimedia work, “Solo for Cymbal” (2011), Interview (2013).

Bernie Worrell has released his first solo piano effort, entitled Elevation: The Upper Air.

Bristophe, the duo of Brice Catherin and Christophe Schweizer have released Die Ersten Zwei Kirchen (free download and stream). They play the cello, the double bass, the trombone, the e-flat tuba, the church organ, the piano, the harpsichord, the clavichord, and the alphorn; they also use our voices, electronics, numerous birdcalls, some random toys and percussion, and a few other instruments.

Dan Weiss has a new one out on Pi Recordings, entitled Fourteen, featuring a 14-piece ensemble with guitar, horns, voices, harp, piano, organ, bass and percussion.
