Darmstadt’s 9th annual performance:
Terry Riley‘s “In C”
$20 / $15 MEMBERS + STUDENTS
Now in its ninth year, Darmstadt’s annual birthday concert has become a time-honored tradition. Terry Riley’s 1964 masterwork is performed by new music legends including vocalist Joan La Barbara, saxophonist Matana Roberts, guitarist Elliott Sharp, clarinetist Joshua Rubin, and string virtuosi Conrad Harris and Pauline Kim Harris perform alongside key members of So Percussion and Iktus Percussion on a battery of pitched percussion instruments.

Swedish Energies 2013: EMS in NYC
This weekend, ISSUE presents the third-annual Swedish Energies festival, “EMS in NYC”, in collaboration with The Bunker, EMS, and the Consulate General of Sweden in New York. The free two-night series showcases a huge lineup of some of Sweden’s most visionary electronic and improvisational musicians, including unique first-time collaborations pairing Swedish and American artists.
