Kalaparusha Maurice McIntyre was one of the early members of AACM and played with Muhal Richard Abrams, Malachi Favors, Roscoe Mitchell and many others. He Recorded eleven albums as leader. He passed away on November 9th, but there has been little coverage, which is a shame.
