Worcester Cage and Cardew Society brings avant-garde compositions to Nick’s

From the Worcester Telegram & Gazette:

The newly formed Cage and Cardew Society will offer some initial notes (or none, as the case may be) on the subject when it presents its first concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nick’s Bar and Restaurant, 124 Millbury St., Worcester.

The society has been formed by Matthew Malsky, a composer and professor of music at Clark University, and Michael Thibodeau, a singer-songwriter and music teacher/director at Worcester North High School. The goal is to “bring together lovers of classic experimental and avant-garde music for the purpose of keeping the music alive through performance.”
