MOPOMOSO
Mopomoso continue their monthly free improv. residency. Stefan Keune (saxophone), Dominic Lash (bass) and Steve Noble (drums) perform with fiery intensity in this new trio. Taiwanese pianist Shih-Yang Lee will play a solo set as part of his first trip to Europe, and the virtuosic combination of Satoko Fukuda (violin), Henry Lowther (trumpet) and John Russell (guitar) creates a sacred sound that cascades over the audience like “light through stained glass”. Music that captures the heart and speaks to the soul.

MATCH & FUSE PRESENTS: ReDiviDer + QUADRACERATOPS
Launching their new album, this two-horns-no-chords quartet, led by drummer Matthew Jacobson play in palindromic sequences (mirroring their name) of downtown grooves with catchy riffs and collective improvs. A joyful ruckus interspersed with eerie, pensive moments, the group plays free jazz with bold improvisations, enticing hooks and tuneful melodies.
The Quadraceratops have appeared at numerous London jazz nights including LUME, Jazz at the Sallsbury and SE collective.

TOBIAS DELIUS / MARK SANDERS / OLIE BRICE
The first gig of a short UK tour for this new free jazz trio. Tobias Delius is one of Europe’s most creative reeds players, “bending chord changes and bar lines as far as they’ll go without breaking”. Double bassist Olie Brice and drummer Mark Sanders had often discussed their shared love of Toby’s playing, and are delighted to invite him over for this trio tour.
