Internationally acclaimed pianist/composer Satoko Fujii – one of the most compelling voices in music today – performs at the Chicago Jazz Festival with her brand new Satoko Fujii Orchestra Chicago on Saturday, August 31. The passionate and adventurous performer is joined by Ernest Dawkins and Keefe Jackson, tenor saxophones; Dave Rempis, bari; Corey Wilkes, trumpet; Jeb Bishop, trombone; John McLean, guitar; Kent Kessler, bass; Michael Zerang, drums; plus her Japanese/French Quartet Kaze.
