From NYTimes.com:

Argento Chamber Ensemble (Tuesday) In honor of the great Austrian composer Georg Friedrich Haas’s move to the United States to join the faculty at Columbia University, this ensemble is highlighting Mr. Haas’s Expressionist precursors. Works by Webern, Schoenberg and Berg (a new arrangement of the Adagio from the Chamber Concerto) are the prelude to the premiere of Mr. Haas’s “Atthis” for soprano and ensemble. At 7:30 p.m., Austrian Cultural Forum New York, 11 East 52nd Street, Manhattan, (212) 319-5300, acfny.org; free, but reservations required. (Zachary Woolfe)

Glass Farm Ensemble (Monday) This flexible and open-minded ensemble presents different configurations of piano, flute, percussion and clarinet in four works by living composers, including the world premiere of Paula Matthusen’s “Movements and Migrations” and Kaija Saariaho’s unsettling “Dolce Tormento” for solo piccolo. At 7:30 p.m., Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway, (212) 864-5400, symphonyspace.org; $20, $15 for 65+, students, members and children. (da Fonseca-Wollheim)

Zeena Parkins (Friday through Sunday) This searching artist’s harp playing pushes the instrument far beyond its standard limits. She ends a residency at the Stone with concerts featuring herself and her collaborators. On Friday one show features Ms. Parker alone in works for acoustic and electric harp and electronics; another pairs her with the experimental duo White Out (Lin Culbertson and Tom Surgal). On Saturday she is joined by Ryan Sawyer on drums and Ryan Ross Smith on keyboards and electronics before finishing up on Sunday with an ensemble performance of Ms. Perkins’s “Lace Piece.” At 8 and 10 p.m., the Stone, Avenue C and Second Street, East Village, thestonenyc.com; $15, $10 on Friday at 10 p.m. (Woolfe)
