Expose, a print magazine focused on progressive rock and related musics, is testing out a new online version. Trivial note – about 20 years ago I wrote for Expose.

Brooklyn Babylon, the long-awaited second release from Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, will be out on April 30. Downloads have been made available to Kickstarter supporters of the release.

Karl Evangelista and Grex Play Taglish, with Hafez Modirzadeh Solo, an unprecedented exploration of Filipino-American life at the turn of the 21st century, told through contemporary, multidisciplinary music, will take place Friday, April 26, 7:30pm, at Red Poppy Art House, 2698 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA, The bill features plenty of local veterans–plus the inimitable Hafez Modirzadeh, who has graciously assented to a solo set.
