Live experimental music is scheduled for 27th April 2013 at The Railway, Winchester, UK. Seismology is the second music event to be staged by The Ologies. It will include acts ranging from remarkably original analogue synthesis from John Chantler (Café Oto), classically influenced ambient artists Olan Mill and live improvisations from Seth Cooke (Bang the Bore) & Dominic Lash, among others.

The Tenses and MSHR will play at the Revival Drum Shop 1465 NE Prescott, Portland, Wednesday, April 3, 8pm.

Columbus Ohio’s Fuse Factory will feature an April Frequency Fridays show with eclectic experimental music trio Controlled Bleeding (NY), circuit bent/underground/experimental musician Truus de Groot (CA), sound art collaboration Bokeh (Mykel Boyd + Mandy Matz) (IL), and experimental music collaborators Mike Shiflet + Jeff Chenault. Date: Friday, April 5, 2013. Location: Wild Goose Creative (2491 Summit St. 43202). Admission: $10, $15 for 2. Doors open 8pm.

The Brotherhood of Fred, the 3rd Annual Fred Anderson Birthday Recognition, will take place 7 p.m. doors and fellowship. 8 p.m. concert, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, The Jazz Showcase, 806 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL 60605. Tatsu Aoki, bass & taiko, Harrison Bankhead, bass & cello, Ernest Dawkins, tenor saxophone, and Hamid Drake, drums.
