Two new Joxfield ProjeX related albums have just been released: Joxfield Projex & colonel XS – What About Me? (Santos Productions – SNTSR17), and Joxfield Projex – Invasion of the Living (Santos Productions – SNTSR18).
Haze has a new compilation of the strange out, entitled Sound Interpretations — Dedication To James Joyce.
On March 5th, 12k will release The Endless Change Of Colour, the latest album from award-winning German composer Marsen Jules. Jules and artist Anders Weberg have created a video to accompany live variations of the generative piece found on the CD.

What: Eyvind Kang and Jessika Kenney make their first Denver appearance at the Museum of Contemporary Art with support from Denver’s premier chamber group, The Playground Ensemble. Kang and Kenney have a profound intimacy in their work, combining ancient music with modern, cutting-edge influences for a sound both rooted in tradition and of other worlds. Kang has performed and recorded with artists as varied as Bill Frisell, John Zorn, Laurie Anderson, Blonde Redhead, and Mr. Bungle.

Tonight we welcome the English drummer Mark Sanders, collaborating with some of Baltimore’s finest improvisers. Mark Sanders has been playing professionally for almost thirty years. His diversity is unmatched, running the gamut between jazz, free improvisation, pop, avant-rock, modern classical, dance, new complexity, dub and folk. He has played extensively with renowned musicians including Evan Parker, Peter Brotzmann, Derek Bailey,Henry Grimes,Tim Berne, Luc Ex and Ken Vandermark. Mark also performs frequently in duo and quartets with Wadada Leo Smith and trios with Charles Gayle and William Parker. He is currently a member of Matthew Shipps London Quartet.
