TUE. 7/24 – trombonist Chris Stover returns from NYC with Acquired Involuntary Narcissism: Stuart MacDonald, Steve Treseler, Eric Barber, James DeJoie (reeds); Greg Lyons, Thomas Marriott, Al Keith (trumpets); Andy Clausen, Nelson Bell (trombones); Bill Anschell, John Silverman, Greg Williamson (rhythm)

THU. 7/26, 8 PM – Earshot Jazz presents Jazz: the Second Century, Robin Holcomb + BUZZ

FRI. 7/27 – the return of GRID, large improvising ensemble

WED. 8/1 – flute summit with Robert Dick, Clifford Dunn, John Savage

FRI. 8/3, 7 PM doors/7:40 music – Substrata Festival 1.2: Lawrence English (Australia), Scanner (UK), Daniel Menche (Portland); full festival passes are sold out, but a limited number of tickets for this show are still available online in advance only. No tickets sold at the door!

SAT. 8/4 – Substrata Festival 1.2: THIS CONCERT IS SOLD OUT but there will be a free lecture by Lawrence English at 1 PM followed by a panel discussion with the artists at 2 PM, in the Chapel
