577 Records announces a new donation-supported curator series: “The curator will provide three titles with one of the three CDs featuring him or herself and the others chosen from musicians he or she knows or works with. The idea is that the three CDs in each series be related based on the curator’s choice and musical taste. We’ll be assigning the first curation to sax player David Schnug. David is a musician based in NYC. He is a really talented sax player and very involved in the community. David is coordinating the following three CD releases as part of his curation: 1-David Schnug Trio (David Schnug sax, Chris Tordini bass, Max Goldman drums), 2- Aella (Patrick Breiner sax, Max Goldman drums, Mette Henriette Rolvag sax), 3- Alan Bjorklund’s Amygdala (Alan Bjorklund trumpet, Andrew Carrico baritone sax, Trevor LaGrange piano, Ryan Clackner guitar, Pascal Niggenkemper bass, Cody Brown drums).”
