The International Contemporary Ensemble devours repertory as hungrily as any other group of its kind, but it is also building a repertory of pieces its players consider worth revisiting. The Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho’s music seems to be high on its list of keepers, and understandably so: Ms. Saariaho’s colorful, involving scores keep listeners transfixed and reward repeat hearings.
