Presenting the best in improvised music

Charlie Collins / John Jasnoch duo
Following a 30 year association which, individually and collectively, has taken in Clock DVA, country & western, Company Week and the Sonny Simmons Quartet, Jasnoch and Collins have focused on the 12-string guitar and a basic drum set for their duo. Sheffield’s finest!

Alexander Hawkins
Nominated a ‘Musician of the Year’ in All About Jazz New York for 2010, and as the keyboardist, and pianist of the year by Spain’s ‘El Intruso’, pianist Alex Hawkins is a remarkable musician deservedly making waves. Here he plays a rare solo set giving him complete freedom to showcase his considerable abilities. A real treat!

Luc Houtkamp / John Russell duo
As a composer and saxophonist, Luc’s musical goal is to establish a continuum between improvisation and composition in which the difference between the two dissolves.
