Peter Brötzmann Chicago Tentet in London

Peter Brötzmann

From FT.com:

Peter Brötzmann, the forceful free jazz expressionist, has regularly played in the UK since releasing his first album in 1967 but only once before with his freewheeling Chicago Tentet. This gig, a London first, put the German multi-instrumentalist’s emotional range and organisational skills under the microscope of a three-day residency. Each night, he divided his ensemble into its constituent elements before reconvening the whole for an improvised finale.
