Stephen Gosling Recital at Bargemusic

From NYTimes.com:

Stephen Gosling, a British pianist who came to New York as a student in 1989, has become one of the city’s most eloquent champions of new music, both as a soloist and as a member of Ensemble Sospeso and the New York New Music Ensemble. For the most part Mr. Gosling has not been bound to a particular contemporary style, but the carefully balanced, powerfully played recital he offered at Bargemusic on Thursday evening was a concise, cohesive overview of a post-Serialist, post-Minimalist approach to writing for the keyboard.
