Firehouse 12 To Present Singularity: Music By Joel Harrison Septet December 17th

On Friday, December 17th, New Haven’s Firehouse 12 will present Singularity, a new book of compositions by New York-based guitarist/composer, and 2010 Guggenheim Fellowship recipient, Joel Harrison. This final event in the venue’s 2010 Fall Jazz Series will be preceded by a free grant workshop for ensembles and presenters at 3:00 p.m. presented by Chamber Music America, which commissioned Singularity through its 2009 New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development program.
