Breiner assembled a cast of exciting and original musicians for this date. The Colloquial Quartet delves into new territory and creates a unique language while exploring new material as well as classic compositions. The first set will feature the music from Dave Holland’s “Conference of the Birds”. The second set will feature Breiner’s originals as well as music by Don Cherry, Thelonious Monk, and Ornette Coleman.
