From NYTimes.com:
Annie Gosfield (Saturday) Along with the guitarist Roger Kleier, Ms. Gosfield, an innovative composer, keyboardist and bandleader, planned the programming for a spartan downtown-music laboratory this month. As part of that, during an 8 p.m. set she presents a new string quartet, “The Blue Horse Walks on the Horizon,” played by the Jasper String Quartet; and “EWA7,” a concert-length trio work inspired by factory sounds. The Jasper String Quartet returns at 10 p.m. to repeat Ms. Gosfield’s piece along with works by Haydn and Berg. At 8 and 10 p.m., the Stone, Avenue C and Second Street, East Village , thestonenyc.com; $10. (Smith)
