Endometrium Cuntplow & Doldis – Feeding a Closing Space
‘Feeding a Closing Space’ is a fiery & sleazy noise drone ‘n’ feed back smarting split between the wonderfully named Californian based Endometrium Cuntplow & Swedish based Doldis.Fouke – Self Titled
‘Fouke’ is the new Wall noise project from Richard Ramirez (Black Leather Jesus, Werewolf Jerusalem, solo work & 20 or so other projects) and its unusual title is taken from a small town on the Arkansas Texas Border that’s most know for its Bigfoot like monster which was made famous by the 1970’s film Legend of Boggy Creek. This is the projects second release after a tape on Ramirez Deadline Label.Churner – Throat Demon
‘Throat Demon’ finds US noise project Churner in it’s most searing & unforgiving form yet offering up one long near 30 minute track of brain boiling noise sonics, which still just managers to hold onto the atmospheric undercurrents that make Churner’s take on noise so effective & appealing.Duchesses – Estupet
Duchesses are a four piece all female band from Seattle who make a snarling, grinding, & often discordant brand of no-wave meets blacked hardcore punk hammerings & low grade metallic’s topped with nasty sort of dada vocalising. Estupet is the bands splattering & grimly playful debut that launchers at you like a rabid demon grabbing at your throat & then tap-danceing on your head in stilettos.Boe – Low Harbour
Low Harbour is a collection of six grim & at times noisy improvised dark rock/foreboding instrumental pieces for percussion, bass & guitar. Boe is a one man project from Bergen in Norway & Low Harbour is first nautical influenced doomed work.Andy Ortmann – Provocative Electronics
Provocative Electronics finds the always rewarding Andy Ortmann tying his surreal & bizarre field recording layered soundscapes & noise matter to old school analog synthesizers. To make an album that pays tribute to the likes of the mighty Moog master Mort Garson & the strange & murderous 60’s electronics of Ruth White; but this is far from a retro trip with Ortmann making all eight synth used in the album process sounding fresh, odd & at times quite fiery.
