A rough translation from David’s blog:
The May 12 operation went well. David is home taking anti-rejection medication and will be closely watched over the next 3 months. It has been impossible for him to work since September 2008, so there has been a call for donations to help David out financially at
http://www.aumfidelity.com/david-s-ware-health.html. We will wait for David to stabilize before organizing any future tours.
Please note the following: Avant Music News is going to donate advertising proceeds from the second quarter of 2009 to David’s health. We don’t make a lot on this site, but every little bit helps, and all of our revenue from April-June will go to David. If you don’t want to donate directly (which you should since its easy and anyone can afford a few bucks), you can do so indirectly through us. Thanks.
Monsieur Délire is a new blog from veteran music reviewer Francios Couture. The focus is on left-of-center music and consists mainly of his daily listening diary. Good stuff.
