Doctor Nerve

Nick Didkovsky continues to write new material for Doctor Nerve, and recently acquired a 1967 Gibson SG which his friends are getting sick of hearing about. Still we cannot help but wonder what effect the guitar which in the hands of Tony Iommi was used to create heavy metal will have on the new Nerve tunes.

Nick’s Ice Cream Time project with ARTE Sax Quartet and Tom Dimuzio is going to tour Europe in November.

Nick recently returned from Belfast where he presented a paper on “MaxScore” at the International Computer Music Conference. If you use the computer music program MaxMSP, you can now do common music notation with this new object, visit http://www.algomusic.com/maxscore/

The fabulous Dither Electric Guitar Quartet recently performed a bunch of Nick’s pieces to a packed house in a cool new music space in Williamsburg called Listen/Space

As always: http://www.doctornerve.org and http://www.myspace.com/doctornerve is where you can keep up with the latest.
